Product Descriptions
We sell third-party brands. While we strive to display colors, specifications, and images as accurately as possible, manufacturers may update product designs without notice. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Manufacturer Warranties
Since we are a retailer and not the manufacturer, most products come with a warranty provided directly by the manufacturer. We will assist you in contacting the manufacturer should an issue arise, but fishtankfilters.com does not offer an independent warranty unless explicitly stated.
Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure the equipment purchased is suitable for your specific tank size, livestock, and setup.
5. Limitation of Liability
Water Damage & Livestock
fishtankfilters.com provides high-quality filtration systems. However, we are strictly not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages related to product failure.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of livestock (fish, coral, plants, koi)
- Water damage to flooring, furniture, or property
- Electrical damage
Use of Equipment
You agree that the use of any product purchased from us is at your sole risk. Filters and pumps must be installed according to the manufacturer's safety instructions, including drip loops and proper grounding.
6. Shipping and Returns
Our shipping and return policies are separate from this document but form part of your agreement with us.
Note on Used Filters: For sanitary and safety reasons, filters that have been run in water cannot be returned unless defective. Please review our full Return Policy for details.
7. User Comments and Feedback
If you leave reviews or comments on our products, you agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive, or obscene material.
We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit, or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion is unlawful or violates these Terms.
